At the request of the local authorities of the Bay Islands District and in collaboration with the authorities of the National Risk Management System, SINAGER at the national level, approves the intelligent opening Of economic sectors in the Bay Islands District with the following characteristics:
1. Considering the official reports issued by the Ministry of Health. which reflect zero positive cases for COVID- 19 contagions in this district, it will proceed to the reopening Of shops according to local government regulations.
2. The determination is a response to the request made by the authorities of this district in which we commit ourselves to the application of biosafety protocols and unrestricted compliance with the current schedule throughout the Honduran territory. All businesses that operate must abide by the provisions issued in local regulations
3. For this reason, and by mutual agreement, the circulation of the population is authorized on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 16, according to the last digit of their identity card, passport or resident card, which correspond to endings 9 and O. Each Municipal Corporation will issue Ordinances that regulate the opening and Biosafety measures, in coordination with SINAGER. starting Monday, May 18 of this year, and during the next few days, random tests of COVID- 19 will be carried out to verify that there are no contagions.
4. Regarding the process of boarding and disembarking people in this district, must be approved by the Commission for Returning Citizens in each Municipality and will be applied until we have the ability to apply COVID-19 tests to people who arrive in the Bay Islands District
5. An inter-institutional team will be created to verify that complying with biosecurity measures in companies and Authorized establishments to operate and those that do not comply will be closed and sanctioned.
6. All collaboration will be provided to the National Police and the Armed Forces so that the measures are carried out in the order established in preventing the spread of COVID-19, thus guaranteeing the safety and health of our population
