Helpful tips for
COVID prevention.
We have created a guide to protecting yourself and others to prevent the spread of COVID-19. By staying home and following these measures, you will help prevent, stop the virus, and save lives.
Wash Your Hands Often
Wash your hands often with water and soap for at least 20 seconds to kill viruses that may be on your hands.
In case you don't have soap and water, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Don't touch your eyes, nose, or mouth without your hands washed.
Practice Social Distancing
In public, maintain 6 feet distance from others
Avoid crowded places
Don't run errands, only if necessary
Avoid contact from anyone who is sick (coughing or sneezing)
Stay home if you are not feeling well
Cover Your Mouth and Nose by Wearing a Mask
Wear a mask if the social distance is not possible
Wear a mask every time you are in an enclosed public place
Wash reusable masks in hot water
Wear a mask every time you run errands
Keep 6 feet distance even if you are wearing a mask
How to Remove Gloves
With one of your hands, remove the first glove from the wrist, turning it inside out and hold it in the other hand (still gloved)
Insert two fingers under the glove from the wrist and remove it by turning it inside out and over the other glove you are holding
Immediately discard the gloves and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds
Clean and Disinfect Often
Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas
If a surface is dirty, you must clean it with detergent or soap and water before disinfection
Use a household disinfectant
How to Clean Food Delivery and Groceries
Take out of the bags the groceries in a single area and throw away unnecessary packaging
Wash groceries with soap and water or a disinfectant
Don't touch your face until you are done
Put everything away
Wash your hands and transfer delivered food to a clean plate and throw away the packaging
Rewash your hands for at least 20 seconds before you eat
