According to a report from the Fire Department of the City, at about two o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday, October 14, the fire department was notified of a fire at the municipal garbage dump. There have been six fires in recent years.

Both the Alcaldia and Little French Key have done their part to keep this matter behind closed doors and away from social media. The case appears to be back inside the courtrooms where it belonged in the first place, and for that, we commend the leadership of both camps.
Fire and Truth on Little French Key
A Brief Recap on Little French Key.
On Sunday, at approximately 9 am, two fires were reported on Little French Key. The first fire originated in the kitchen of the main building and a second fire was born in the generator room. These fires lasted for approximately 3 hours. It is unclear why the kitchen was being used, as Sundays are light days for LFK and the kitchen doesn't open until later in the day.
